Jenna A. Hudson, Associate

Jenna’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation and dispute resolution. She has represented policyholders in both federal and state trial courts with respect to a wide range of insurance coverage matters, including bodily injury and property damage, food-contamination, toxic tort, and directors’ and officers’ coverage. Jenna also advises post-bankruptcy trusts in the recovery of insurance proceeds. In this arena, representative transactions include:

Representative Transactions:

  • representing one of the world’s largest safety equipment manufacturers in litigation against, and negotiations with, nearly thirty insurance companies over hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance coverage;
  • litigating and negotiating for post-bankruptcy trusts to successfully obtain insurance coverage for predecessor companies’ asbestos-related and other liabilities; and
  • securing coverage for insurance claims arising from allegedly tainted peanut butter on behalf of a Fortune 500 food company.

Jenna also has an active pro bono practice. For example, she has co-authored amicus curiae briefs to the United States Supreme Court and the First and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals. Those briefs have concerned topics including the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, fair housing, voting rights, affirmative action, and reproductive rights.
