Joshua Katz joined Gilbert LLP in September 2006.  Joshua's practice focuses on strategic counseling and complex litigation in state and federal courts.  Examples of recent matters include: 

• Advising clients on obtaining recovery from insolvent domestic and UK insurance companies

• Representing an international law firm in insurance coverage disputes relating to lawsuits and investigations involving allegations of malpractice and fraud

Joshua also maintains an active pro bono practice.  He has successfully assisted a number of victims of Hurricane Katrina in obtaining insurance coverage for their destroyed homes and businesses.  He also assisted with the production of videos and brochures to help those affected by the storm better understand common insurance coverage issues.

A native of Worcester, Massachusetts, Joshua currently resides in the District of Columbia.  In his free time, he is an avid Boston sports fan.
